Project Overview

The Grenada Sustainable Development Trust Fund (GSDTF) invites qualified contractors, consulting engineers, and engineering firms to submit bids for the structural assessment of the Mt. Gazo Forest Reserve Lookout Point. This elevated timber structure (12ft x 12ft, 20ft height) requires a comprehensive evaluation to determine its integrity and propose rehabilitation measures.

Scope of Work

The selected bidder will undertake:

  1. Preliminary Investigations: Review existing design documents and consult with stakeholders.
  2. Site Inspection: Conduct visual and non-destructive testing (NDT) to identify deterioration, termite damage, corrosion, and other defects.
  3. Structural Assessment: Analyse load-bearing capacity and stability against international standards.
  4. Recommendations: Propose remedial solutions, including materials, techniques, and sustainability considerations.
  5. Documentation: Deliver a Bill of Quantities (BoQ), Scope of Works (SoW), and conceptual drawings.
  6. Reporting: Submit a detailed report and present findings to GSDTF.
